Cabrini named a finalist in the Health Minister's new awardDate: 07/11/2013
Cabrini is one of three finalists in the Minister’s Award for Private Hospital Excellence: Cabrini’s award entry about our neuro-oncology service is a finalist together with Brunswick Private and North Melbourne Dialysis Clinic.
Cabrini is the only private health service providing specialist, multidisciplinary neuro-oncology services from diagnosis to bereavement: currently 65 patients who have primary, malignant brain tumours and complex needs are receiving care under the program.
The Minister’s Award for Private Hospital Excellence is a new category in the 2013 Victorian Public Healthcare Awards. The winner of the award will be announced at a presentation on Wednesday 20 November in Melbourne.
The new Minister’s Award for Private Hospital Excellence recognises organisational innovations or improvements that result in: better engagement and involvement of patients in their own care improved patient experience quality improvement initiatives that raise the standard of care and promote a culture of quality and safety
