Navigating the Aged Care System can be confusing and complicated. We provide many resources to assist you and we hope the information provided helps you on the journey.

  • Accommodation
  • There are single rooms with private ensuites and companion rooms with shared ensuite. There are a number of quiet sitting rooms throughout the home for you to socialise, listen to music, read or look into the gardens. We are proud of the outdoor garden areas and courtyard gardens accessible for you to enjoy.
  • Food
  • We believe food should continue to be an enjoyable experience. Our onsite chefs create fresh, delicious and nutritious meals with a choice of menus and a selection of beverages available. We have regular social lifestyle events serving party style food and drinks.
  • Lifestyle
  • There is a strong focus on maintaining an active and rewarding lifestyle with a range of activities offered. Lifestyle programs are designed to be fun, purposeful and meet the individual needs and requests of our residents.
  • Pastoral Care
  • The focus in on welcome and support as you settle into your new home and ongoing support throughout your stay with us.  Pastoral practitioners offer emotional and pastoral support to residents and families.  All beliefs and values are respected.
  • Laundry
  • Personal clothing is laundered on site. It is advised that all clothing is labelled and we can arrange heat adhesive labels to be fixed to clothing. Clothing should be suitable to be washed and dried in commercial washer and dryer.
  • Quality of Staffing
  • All our staff are committed to the Mission and Values of Cabrini. Our values are demonstrated in the way we care for the residents. Our staff are qualified to complete their duties at the highest level of skill and competence. Each shift in each unit will have a minimum of one registered nurse division 1 or endorsed enrolled nurse in charge, and a team of enrolled nurses and personal care attendants providing resident care.
  • Specialised Care
  • Our nursing staff are trained to provide specialised nursing care such as complex wounds, behaviours associated with dementia and palliative and end of life care. We access visiting services to support our care such as hospital in the home, palliative home care, wound consultant, and stomal therapist
  • Feedback
  • We have feedback forms available through the home and we welcome compliments, comments and complaints. This is a great way for us to know how we are doing, and how we can improve our care and services. We have a monthly resident and family meeting. We also conduct individual resident care review meetings on a regular basis and as required to share information about the resident care.
