I am a Gynaecologist with special interest in endometriosis, pelvic pain, heavy menstrual bleeding, fibroids and adenomyosis. I also perform hysteroscopic surgery, open surgery and advanced laparoscopic surgery. I am compassionate in my approach and focus on delivering practical, holistic and up-to-date care to my patients.
I completed my specialist medical training at the Royal Women's Hospital Melbourne and obtained the Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG). I also obtained a two-year Advanced Laparoscopic Gynaecology fellowship at the Royal Women's Hospital, awarded by the Australasian Gynaecological Endoscopy & Surgery Society (AGES). I was awarded the position of Senior Clinical Fellow and completed a Fellowship in Endometriosis and Advanced Minimal Access Surgery at Oxford University Hospital, the UK's largest endometriosis referral centre. I have further concentrated on the management of extra pelvic endometriosis, including bowel endometriosis by working with international endometriosis expert, Prof Horace Roman in Bordeaux, France.
I am a training supervisor for RANZCOG and AATP accredited fellowship training. My academic interests include researching the areas of endometriosis, fibroids and laparoscopic surgery. I am a principal researcher in multiple randomised controlled trials and currently completing a Master's in Clinical Trials through the University of London.
