Welcome to Cabrini Hopetoun

Cabrini has temporarily closed our Hopetoun Street, Elsternwick, campus. This is part of our coronavirus containment strategy, to minimise the risk of infection and provide the safest possible environment for our patients, families and staff.

Cabrini’s rehabilitation service, previously located at Cabrini Hopetoun, is operating from our Brighton hospital at this time. Our expert rehabilitation team is also located at Cabrini Brighton and will continue to coordinate patient’s therapy programs and provide rehabilitation care.

Please speak to your treating team if you have any questions about this change of location.

In late July, Cabrini Hopetoun reopened to provide care to patients from aged care facilities. This was part of a state-wide response, to help contain the spread of infection within the aged care sector. Following the safe transfer of residents back to their aged care facilities, Cabrini Hopetoun reclosed on 21 September 2020.

Cabrini will continue reviewing changes to our services in line with Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) advice.

For more information about the evolving coronavirus situation, please refer to Cabrini’s dedicated webpage or the DHHS website.
