Our weekly program includes: craft, knitting, cooking, book group, creative writing & poetry, carpet bowls, men’s group, happy hour, quizzes, board games, exercise groups, gardening, and bingo. Special events include: bus trips, concerts, entertainers. Religious services include: Catholic Mass, Anglican and Uniting Church services, Ecumenical and special occasion services.
You will be assessed by our physiotherapist within the first few days following entry to the home. The Physiotherapist will assess mobility, transfers and exercise tolerance. A physiotherapy care plan will be developed and enabled with the assistance of the care team and lifestyle team. The physiotherapist will make recommendations for aids and equipment, including seating.
A dietitian will visit in the first weeks after entry and thereafter as required. A review of your dietary needs and specific dietary guidelines will be provided. Special dietary considerations and supplements are communicated in your care plan.
The podiatry service visits every six weeks.
We have visiting dental, optometry and audiology service providers. Visits are advertised around the home and consent forms for treatment are available. You are also welcome to continue to attend practitioners in the community
Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, and Social Work professionals are available to provide consultation on request or on referral.
Access to our enhanced personal services, hairdressing, beauty therapy, massage and reflexology are available and a fee for service applies.
We welcome you to invite your friends and family for visiting and social events. You and your family may like to celebrate special events in the home. There are many locations available for your function. A booking form is available at reception.
