The 2025 Cabrini Research Forum is now accepting abstracts, we welcome submissions from all clinical and research disciplines.

About the event

The Cabrini Research Forum is an annual online poster event aimed at sharing and highlighting current research across a broad range of disciplines.

Designed to complement the Cabrini Research Sessions, it is an opportunity for researchers of all experience levels in any research area to showcase their incredible work and to learn from others.

It encourages the dissemination of research activities being undertaken directly at Cabrini or in collaboration with other organisations.

Call for Abstracts

The Annual Cabrini Research Forum is an opportunity for all Cabrini researchers, clinicians, and healthcare professionals to promote research or quality improvement projects they are undertaking across Cabrini and/or in collaboration with other institutions.

  • We welcome submissions from all clinical and research disciplines.
  • Have you presented or published your work recently? Submit an abstract so that we can hear about your work too.
  • No matter what stage you are at in your career – novice, early career or an experienced investigator, we want to hear from you. The closing date for submitting an abstract has been extended until COB Monday 29 September.

Important dates and information to note:

  • The Cabrini Research Forum 2025 is an online research poster event. Please do not supply a printed poster. An oral presentation of the poster will not be required.
  • Please ensure you have the appropriate HREC/RGO approval to present your project to a public facing audience.
  • A PDF file of your poster will be required by 20 October 2025.
  • The View and Vote Cabrini Research Forum event will be open online from 1 – 30 November 2025.
  • A number of Best Poster Awards are on offer in multiple categories. The event is also open to public vote. Only one vote per person will be recorded. The poster that receives the highest number of public votes will be awarded the People’s Choice Award. You are welcome to submit a vote as a presenting author.
  • Awards will be announced at the online Cabrini Research Session on Wednesday 3 December 2025.
