Cabrini ED proud partners of junior footy league

Cabrini Emergency is proud to announce it will continue its partnership with the South Metro Junior Football League (SMJFL) through 2023.
Cabrini’s ED treats all emergency conditions (except major trauma) 24 hours, seven days a week.
Cabrini has partnered with the league since April 2019 as the league’s Match Day Emergency partner in the unfortunate occurrence of injuries during games.
“As we head into our 75th year of caring for the southeast Melbourne community, Cabrini Emergency is proud to continue its support of the South Metro Junior Football League,” said Sue Williams, Cabrini Chief Executive.
“It was a pleasure to take Matthew (Brown, SMJFL CEO) on a tour of our facilities and introduce him to our dedicated emergency department staff.
“We hope no SMJFL footballer has to visit our emergency department, but if they do, their parents should take comfort in knowing they will receive the best of care.”
The partnership with Cabrini Emergency aims to offset the costs of requiring emergency treatment for our SMJFL players they may require as a result of participating in football activities, something both parties will be striving diligently to achieve throughout 2023.
“There is so many fantastic things about our game which make it so great, however, if there is one aspect we could do without, it is injuries,” said Brown.
“Fortunately, we have the best possible care in Cabrini supporting the league when the harsh reality of injuries occurs.
“As a former patient of Cabrini, I can attest to this being the case.”
