A/Prof Stephen Pianko

I am a gastroenterologist and specialise in therapeutic endoscopy and colonoscopic removal of large colonic polyps. I have an interest in the management of inflammatory bowel disease and viral hepatitis. Together with my colleagues we provide a 7 day a week inpatient gastroenterology service at Cabrini Malvern.

I also continue to be involved in clinical research and I am the Head of Clinical Trials for the Gastroenterology Unit at the Monash Medical Centre and have an honorary appointment at Monash University.
