Dr Arun Gupta

I am a board-credentialed specialist gastroenterologist with an interest in inflammatory bowel disease, colonoscopy for bowel cancer screening and irritable bowel syndrome.

My practice combines a broad depth of knowledge in all areas of clinical gastroenterology with state-of-the-art endoscopic skills. I aim to provide a holistic approach to my patients and use evidence-based medicine to make decisions about every individual’s care.

I grew up in Melbourne, and after attending high school in Queensland returned to Melbourne University where I was a resident house officer at The Royal Melbourne Hospital. I subsequently trained at Westmead and Royal North Shore Hospitals in NSW and underwent a senior clinical fellowship in Oxford, UK.

After spending eight years working in a senior role in Canberra, I have returned to Melbourne to implement the broad range of skills he has developed working interstate and overseas.
