Dr Dilan Epa

I am an endocrinologist with special interests in diabetes mellitus, osteoporosis, thyroid and pituitary disorders, as well as other general endocrine disorders.

I undertook advanced training in Endocrinology at St Vincent’s and Alfred hospitals in Melbourne. Having obtained my medical degree with honours in 2011, I received a full grant from the European Association for the Study of Diabetes to attend the Robert Turner Clinical Research Course at the Oxford Centre for Diabetes Endocrinology and Metabolism in the UK.

I have published my research in leading international peer-reviewed journals and presented at international conferences. I have also contributed to the development and review of clinical practice guidelines at the hospitals I have worked at and continue to engage in quality improvement. I am actively involved in teaching medical students from Monash and Melbourne universities and physician trainees.
