Dr Jason Yap

I am an experienced paediatric gastroenterologist. My special interests include clinical nutrition, intestinal failure and liver/intestinal transplantation.

I completed my medical studies in Auckland, New Zealand and my gastroenterology training in New Zealand and Australia. I then further developed my skills at The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada, a world renowned institution for gastroenterology. I worked in Canada for a decade as a consultant paediatric gastroenterologist before returning down under.

I am currently appointed at The Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne as consultant paediatric gastroenterologist and Clinical Associate Professor, University of Melbourne.
