Dr Rebecca Reed
Cardiologist
I am a clinical cardiologist with a focus on non-invasive cardiac imaging and general cardiology. My journey in medicine began with obtaining my MBBS in 2000, followed by comprehensive training at esteemed institutions.
After completing basic physician training at St Vincent’s Hospital in Melbourne, I pursued cardiology training at Monash Medical Centre. Recognised for my dedication and expertise, I was admitted as a fellow to the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2007.
To further hone my skills, I underwent a fellowship in cardiac imaging at the Austin Hospital, followed by an international fellowship in CT coronary angiography at Institut Cardiovasculaire Paris Sud, France. This diverse training equipped me with the knowledge and experience needed to excel in non-invasive cardiac imaging.
For five years, I contributed to the healthcare community at Frankston Hospital, where I spearheaded the establishment of the cardiac CT service in collaboration with radiology. Currently, I continue my practice in the private sector at Cabrini Health, where I am dedicated to providing exemplary care to my patients.
