Dr Shane Selvanderan

I am a specialist Gastroenterologist and Interventional Endoscopist. I have specific interest and expertise in pancreaticobiliary disease, and therapeutic endoscopy, but I welcome referrals for all manner of gastroenterology and hepatology conditions.

I completed two dedicated interventional endoscopy fellowships at the Alfred Hospital, and the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. I then returned to Melbourne to take up a public appointment at the Alfred, which I combine with private practice based in Surrey Hills.

My services include high-quality diagnostic gastroscopy and colonoscopy, as well as a range of advanced endoscopic procedures including ERCP, endoscopic ultrasound, capsule endoscopy, balloon enteroscopy, luminal stenting and endoscopic resection of large polyps and early gastrointestinal tract cancers.
