Dr Shaun Yo

I am the clinical lead of the pulmonary hypertension (PH) service at the Alfred Hospital and co-chair of the lung cancer multidisciplinary team at Monash Health. My interests also include the management of lung nodules, asthma, sleep apnoea and other sleep disorders. I am experienced in bronchoscopy and endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS) and perform these procedures regularly at Monash Health and Cabrini Hospital.

I graduated dux of Monash University, attained the highest score in the Royal Australasian College of Physicians examination, completed a fellowship in PH at Toronto General Hospital on a scholarship, and graduated with a Masters from Harvard University.

I am an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at Monash University and am actively involved in research. I have served as the principal investigator for several multicentre clinical trials. Additionally, I am an executive member of the Victorian chapter of the Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand.
