Mr Timothy Chung

I am an Australian-trained Orthopaedic Surgeon with additional international subspecialty training in shoulder and elbow surgery. My expertise includes arthroscopic surgery, joint replacement, and trauma surgery, and I currently practise as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Monash Health and Cabrini.

After graduating with Honours from Monash University, I completed specialist orthopaedic training across both metropolitan and regional hospitals in Victoria. I then pursued further training overseas to gain experience in the latest techniques for managing shoulder and elbow conditions. This included working in a major trauma centre in London, visiting specialist elbow centres across the UK, and undertaking a dedicated shoulder fellowship in Rennes, France.

I am committed to providing personalised care by tailoring treatment plans to each patient’s individual needs. I offer both operative and non-operative options and work collaboratively with physiotherapists, GPs, and other allied health professionals to deliver holistic care.
