Dr Catarina Ang

My expertise is in the areas of complex fibroid disease, endometriosis and pelvic pain. I am an advanced (Level 6/6 RANZCOG/AGES) laparoscopic surgeon, focussed on a minimally invasive approach to management. I perform laparoscopic treatment of severe stage IV (rAFS) endometriosis, including rectal or rectovaginal endometriosis, laparoscopic & hysteroscopic myomectomies, laparoscopic hysterectomy, interval cerclage, residual ovary syndrome & adhesions.

I was a Clinical Research Fellow in Oxford, appointed to both the John Radcliffe Hospital and University of Oxford. I was also awarded an international fellowship at the CHU Clermont-Ferrand (Polyclinique de I’HotelDieu) and Centre Internationale de Chirurgie Endoscopique (CICE) in Clermont-Ferrand, France before returning to head the Gynaecology 1 unit at the Women’s.
