Mr Gary Nattrass

I am a paediatric orthopaedic surgeon with a specialisation in scoliosis and spinal deformity, as well as hip conditions including DDH, Perthes’ disease, and SUFE. With extensive experience in the field, I have served as the past president of the Australian Paediatric Orthopaedic Society (APOS).

As a member of the Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) Spine Team, I am well-versed in all aspects of paediatric orthopaedics. My particular focus lies in early onset scoliosis, where I utilise innovative techniques such as vertebral body tethering (VBT) to provide optimal outcomes for my patients.

I am dedicated to staying at the forefront of my field, continually seeking opportunities to advance my knowledge and skills. My goal is to provide comprehensive and compassionate care to children with orthopaedic conditions, ensuring they can live active and fulfilling lives.
