Mr George Pratt

I am a plastic and reconstructive surgeon with a special interest in all major reconstructive surgery, in particular using microsurgical techniques. I manage post traumatic (injury) wounds and post cancer surgery wounds for breast, head and neck and the lower limb, as well as skin reconstruction following skin cancers, including BCC, SCC and melanoma through to benign skin lesions.

I have a special interest in paediatric plastic surgery and take time to develop a special rapport with my patients and their families. In addition, I also provide a full range of cosmetic surgical services for the body and the face.

I began my career at Royal Perth Hospital where I received the Goatcher Award for most outstanding Intern in 2004. I completed a Post Graduate Diploma of Surgical Anatomy in 2007 (UWA) and worked as a junior doctor in many fields before commencing specialist training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in 2012. I completed the Fellowship examinations with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2016 and was admitted as Fellow of the College. When I am not operating, I am passionate about surgical research and education.
