Mr Nick Furness

I am a consultant Orthopaedic surgeon with a specialist interest in all aspects of upper limb and fracture surgery.

I undertook my medical training at Imperial College London, where I also earned a degree in Healthcare Management. I completed orthopaedic training in the UK and qualified as a consultant in 2017. Alongside my training I was awarded a Master’s degree in Trauma Surgery and received the prestigious BOA Travelling Fellowship Award, which allowed me to gain further experience in complex upper limb surgery at the Alfred Hospital. Following my specialist qualification I completed fellowship training in Exeter (UK), Auckland (NZ), and at the Alfred.

I currently hold public appointment at Sandringham, Frankston, Bendigo hospital and consult privately at Sandringham Orthopaedic Specialists Group. I operate privately at Cabrini Brighton. I am happy to see Work Cover and TAC patients.
