Mr Raymond Yap

I am a colorectal and general surgeon serving the south-eastern community and beyond. I completed three years of subspecialty training at Prince of Wales Sydney, St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne, and in the USA at AdventHealth Orlando – pioneers in complex abdominal and transanal minimally invasive surgery.

I have a keen interest in a range of colorectal and general surgical conditions including; hemorrhoids, fistulas, fissures, skin tags, abscesses, colon and rectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, and pilonidal disease. I also perform gastroscopies and colonoscopies. I look to perform most of my major abdominal operations minimally invasively, as this allows a faster and smoother recovery for my patients. I constantly look to speed my patients’ recovery, including through opioid-free surgery.
