Mr Tom Clarnette

Mr Clarnette graduated from the University of Adelaide Medical School in 1988, before completing his surgical training in both South Australia and Victoria. At the conclusion of his paediatric surgical training, he undertook post fellowship training in the United Kingdom. This included 18 months at King’s College Hospital, London. Mr Clarnette specialised in hepatobiliary surgery in children, which is his key area of interest.

Mr Clarnette is a respected and experienced paediatric surgeon who consults and operates publicly at the Royal Children’s Hospital, Monash Children’s Hospital, Sunshine Hospital, and the Goulburn Valley Hospital in Shepparton.

He also has a private list at Cabrini Health, Malvern where he provides expertise in procedures such as orchidopexy, repair of umbilical and epigastric hernias, and repair of hydrocele. Mr Clarnette has held his position as a consultant surgeon at the Department of Paediatric and Neonatal Surgery at The Royal Children’s Hospital since 2004.
