I am a qualified vascular and endovascular surgeon offering a range of management options for the full spectrum of vascular conditions. Originally from Toowoomba in regional Queensland, I completed my medical degree at the University of Queensland. During my early career, I was awarded a Junior Doctor Research Fellowship through the Queensland Government. My work with the Queensland Research Centre for Peripheral Vascular Disease earned me an MPhil research higher degree from the University of Queensland in 2018. Additionally, I was honoured with the inaugural Professor Philip Walker Vascular Surgery Research Scholarship through the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.

Throughout my training, I gained extensive vascular experience working in Brisbane, New Zealand, and Melbourne, including the emergency vascular surgical treatment of many victims of the tragic Christchurch Mosque shootings in 2019.

I am proficient in both traditional open surgery and minimally-invasive endovascular treatments, as well as non-operative strategies to manage vascular disease. I have a special interest in the medical and surgical management of aortic aneurysms and dissections and have published extensively on this topic. Additionally, I focus on limb salvage techniques for patients with chronic limb-threatening ischaemia and advanced diabetic foot pathology.

I actively participate in local, national, and international conferences, staying abreast of new developments in vascular surgery through continuous research, reading peer-reviewed journal articles, and attending scientific meetings. I am passionate about teaching and currently serve as the supervisor of vascular training at Northern Health. In 2023, I was also convenor of the annual vascular surgery trainee skills course in Melbourne.

I hold public hospital appointments through The Alfred, Northern Health and Western Health. I consult privately at Cabrini Hospital.
