Prof Gary Richardson OAM

I am an academic medical oncologist treating gynaecological, gastro-intestinal, breast and lung cancers at Cabrini Hospital in Malvern and Brighton. I am responsible for the clinical trials program and translational research at Cabrini.

I am the Group Director of the Cabrini Research and am appointed to the Neil Beauglehall Endowed Chair of Medical Oncology Research. I personally act as principal investigator in many clinical studies in lung and gynaecological malignancy, as well as development of novel compounds for the treatment of cancer (Precision Medicine).

I am Professor of Medicine at Monash University and work with the Monash University Biomedicine Discovery Institute. I am past Chairman of the Medical Oncology Group of Australia and past President of the Private Cancer Physicians of Australia. I belong to multiple national and international research organisations.
