Continuing Professional Development (CPD) details

This is a RACGP CPD Approved Education Activity for 2 hours.

Learning outcomes:

  1. Identify which patients are eligible for the NLCSP and when to refer into Cabrini’s NLCSP clinic.
  2. Describe the role of diagnostic techniques in lung cancer (including EBUS and CT guided biopsy).
  3. Summarise the work-up and management of resectable NSCLC patients, with a focus on peri-operative chemo/immunotherapy.
  4. Discuss the role of radiotherapy in NLCSP and lung cancer patients.
  5. Discuss recent developments in thoracic surgery and role in NLCSP and lung cancer patients.
