Our commitment to improving patient experience
29/04/2019
Beginning on 29 April, Cabrini’s Patient Experience Week celebrates the wonderful work of all our people, who continually put patients, customers and residents first.
Cabrini Patient Experience Manager Toula Saltas said Patient Experience Week was about celebrating and recognising all our people at Cabrini who are key to delivering and improving the patient experience.
“There are many people at Cabrini who go above and beyond for our patients and Patient Experience Week is about recognising those people.”
“Our people do not always get the recognition they deserve so this is an opportunity to honour our staff who make sure patient experiences are memorable and positive.”
During Cabrini’s Patient Experience Week, staff are invited to nominate colleagues who do an outstanding job in providing the best possible experience for patients
Nurse Tina has been nominated as a Patient Experience Champion for the thoughtful and compassionate care she provides to her patients. Her nomination stated: “Tina provides compassionate care to all her patients, from two-year-olds through to 100 year olds. Tina consistently supports her team to enable them to provide the best care possible.”
Personal Care Assistant Mark was nominated for his diligence and commitment to providing a safe environment for staff and patients. His nomination stated: “Mark goes beyond every day. Nothing is ever a problem. He is a positive and proactive staff member who is integral to our team.”
Nurse Unit Manager Stephanie was nominated for her commitment to improving the patient experience. Her nomination stated: “Stephanie leads by example to provide and manage excellent patient experience. On many occasions Stephanie has been able to improve care and safety, enhancing patient and family satisfaction.”
