Our day oncology and infusion centres offer our patients access to a comprehensive range of cancer treatments including chemotherapy, immunotherapy and infusion services. For your convenience, this same day outpatient service is available both at Cabrini Malvern and Cabrini Brighton.
Patients are treated in a relaxed and calm atmosphere designed to provide comfort, privacy and dignity. We are committed to minimise your discomfort and support you with all your emotional and physical needs. Our multidisciplinary team of experienced oncologists, haematologists, specialist nurses and allied health practitioners ensure patients receive the highest quality of care.

Day oncology and infusion support services
To ensure the best possible health outcome, we also offer a wide range of support services important in the treatment and management of your health. These include a range of wellness and exercise programs delivered by experienced dietitians, physiotherapists and rehabilitation experts.
- Access to lymphoedema service
- Access to allied health services including physiotherapists, exercise physiologists, dietitians, speech pathologists, occupational therapists.
- Access to specialist nurses in breast and brain cancer at no extra cost
- Bioimpedance for fluid measurement in patients at no cost (at Brighton)
- Chemotherapy card – subsidised financial benefits while undergoing chemotherapy

- Complimentary wig service located at Cabrini Brighton
- Education and information sessions – ‘Living with Cancer’
- Mindfulness meditation resources
- Scalp cooling to preserve hair loss for those eligible, with limited out of pocket costs
- Wellness and exercise programs
You are encouraged to bring any devices, comforts from home and foods or beverages of your choice. You are also welcome to bring along a friend or relative while you are being treated. Our oncology nurses will answer all your questions upon arrival and explain in detail what to expect during and after your treatment.
