Biography
Dr Matt Loft is a Medical Oncologist. Dr Loft also has a degree in Pharmacy and combines clinical practice with academic research at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute and University of Melbourne. His research interest is in personalised oncology and improving anticancer medication dosing, looking to develop online calculators to assist with clinical decision making and further inform patient care and outcomes.
Dr Loft is actively involved in teaching and has numerous peer reviewed publications. His professional memberships include the Australasian Gastro-Intestinal Tumour Group (AGITG), American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), Medical Oncology Group of Australia (MOGA) and European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO).
Dr Loft’s passion is moving from a “one size fits all” treatment approach to individualised and tailored care for all patients.
