Biography
Dr Shane Selvanderan is a specialist Gastroenterologist and Interventional Endoscopist. Dr Selvanderan has specific interest and expertise in pancreaticobiliary disease, and therapeutic endoscopy, but he welcomes referrals for all manner of gastroenterology and hepatology conditions.
Dr Selvanderan completed two dedicated interventional endoscopy fellowships at the Alfred Hospital, and the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. He then returned to Melbourne to take up a public appointment at the Alfred, which he combines with private practice based in Surrey Hills.
Dr Selvanderan services include high-quality diagnostic gastroscopy and colonoscopy, as well as a range of advanced endoscopic procedures including ERCP, endoscopic ultrasound, capsule endoscopy, balloon enteroscopy, luminal stenting and endoscopic resection of large polyps and early gastrointestinal tract cancers.
