Biography

Mr Andrew Salipas is an Australian-trained Orthopaedic Surgeon with subspecialty expertise in adult hip and knee joint replacement surgery, revision joint replacement, and sports knee surgery.

Mr Salipas graduated from The University of Melbourne in 2009 with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), and Bachelor of Medical Science (BMedSc). Following his internship and residency at St Vincent’s Hospital in Melbourne, he joined the Australian Orthopaedic Association training scheme, completing his fellowship exams and becoming a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in 2020.

Mr Salipas further advanced his skills through two international fellowships in Canada, one in Adult Hip and Knee Joint Replacement at the University of Western Ontario and the other in Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine at the University of Alberta.

Mr Salipas currently serves as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Monash Health, and he consults privately at Cabrini Malvern and Cabrini Brighton, where his practice focuses on complex lower limb joint replacement, revision surgery, sports knee reconstruction, and adult and paediatric trauma.
