Biography

Mr Shay Zayontz is an experienced orthopaedic surgeon subspecialising in hip and knee replacement surgery.

Mr Zayontz has performed several thousand joint replacements over 20 years.

In 2000, he was accepted for a subspecialty Hip and Knee Replacement Fellowship at Harvard University Medical School in Boston. During this time, he published multiple research papers on knee kinematics and function of knee replacements; his research team published some crucial concepts relating to knee flexion that was critical in the development of high flexion knee designs.

Mr Zayontz trained under and worked with some of the leading knee and hip surgeons in the world at Massachusetts General Hospital and The Brigham and Women’s Hospital.

Biography

Mr Rohan Sheehy is an Australian trained orthopaedic surgeon sub-specialising in hip and knee surgery.

His areas of interest and expertise include hip replacement surgery, knee replacement surgery, arthroscopy, ACL reconstruction and upper and lower limb trauma in both adults and children (fractures and soft tissue injuries).

After completing his undergraduate medical degree at The University of Melbourne he completed his specialist training in orthopaedic surgery across several hospitals in Victoria. Mr Sheehy also completed a trauma fellowship at Royal Melbourne Hospital. He currently holds a public appointment at both Sandringham Hospital (Alfred Health) and the Western Hospital.

Mr Sheehy operates at both Cabrini Malvern and Cabrini Brighton hospitals.
