Biography
A/Prof Melita Kenealy is a haematologist and haemato-oncologist, managing all blood disorders including general haematology, malignant haematology (eg lymphoma, leukaemia, myeloma), bleeding disorders, venous thromboembolic disease (blood clots) and obstetric haematology.
A/Prof Kenealy is involved in clinical trials and translational research, with an interest in myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS), a pre-leukaemia disease, running Australia wide clinical trials in this condition.

Biography
Mrs Angela Jones is the coordinator of Cabrini’s Cancer Exercise and Wellness Centre. Angela is a qualified social worker, having worked for 19 years in oncology both in the community and in hospitals.
Angela has spent many years working as a social worker in the speciality area of palliative care, this has included working with people who have an Acquired Brain Injuries, Huntinghton’s disease and people who are ageing.
Angela has been a bereavement counsellor for carers and families of palliative care clients, including at SIDS and Kids where she provided bereavement counselling to families, and she has also provided wellbeing counselling to residents in aged care facilities.
