In the line with DHHS advice, if you have any symptoms of COVID-19, however mild, you should seek medical advice and get tested.
Please do not attend work if you have any symptoms, however mild.
The symptoms to watch out for are fever, chills or sweats, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, runny nose and loss or change in sense of smell or taste. In certain circumstances headache, muscle soreness, stuffy nose, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea may also be considered.
You can undergo testing for COVID-19, in line with DHHS testing criteria, at the Cabrini Malvern staff testing clinic or at Cabrini General Practice. A list of external testing locations can be found here.
If you have serious symptoms, such as difficulty breathing, call 000 and ask for an ambulance (inform them you may have symptoms of COVID-19).
Staff screening is now mandatory for all staff at Cabrini Malvern. Screening involves a temperature check, to detect signs of fever (a common symptom of COVID-19). Following this, staff will receive a screening sticker, to be placed in a visible position on your ID badge.
