Dr Ian Loh

I am a Specialist Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon with an interest in both adult and pediatric plastic surgery, holding various professional memberships and affiliations. I care for all patients with Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic surgical needs. I have particular interests in head and neck surgery including facial reconstruction and facial aesthetics, paediatric cleft and craniofacial surgery, skin cancer surgery, breast surgery and hand surgery.
I believe in a collaborative approach between Surgeon and Patient to achieve the best results.

I graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2007, I completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Surgical Anatomy through the University of Melbourne in 2010 & also received a Masters of Surgery in 2017 through Monash University.

During my Plastic Surgery training I worked at major Melbourne hospitals including The Alfred, The Royal Melbourne Hospital, The Royal Children’s Hospital, St Vincent’s Hospital, Monash Health and Western Health. I then completed an additional 18 months of subspecialty training in Craniofacial and Cleft Surgery through the Royal Children’s Hospital and the prestigious Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) in Toronto, Canada.

I hold current public appointments as a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at Monash Health and The Royal Children’s Hospital. I also hold a private appointment at Cabrini Hospital. I am also involved in teaching current plastic surgery trainees.
