Dr Nader Fayazi

I am a respiratory physician specialising in the diagnosis and management of respiratory disorders in adults. I have a special interest in small airway disease, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and bronchiolitis.

I am a passionate medical educator and an expert at pulmonary procedures, including bronchoscopy and pleural procedures.

Prior to joining the Sleep and Respiratory Group in Melbourne, I worked as a general medicine specialist at Hamilton Base Hospital and as a respiratory medicine specialist at St John of God Hospitals in Ballarat and Sunshine. Before relocating to Australia, I worked as a specialist physician in Bandar Abbas, Iran for 16 years and held several positions at the Hormozgan University of Medical Sciences, including Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Manager of the Internal Medicine Department.
