Dr Payam Nikpoor

I am a gynaecologist and a subspecialist in urogynaecology, focusing on the assessment and treatment of pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, recurrent prolapse, and mesh complications, using both vaginal and laparoscopic approaches.

I also perform urodynamic studies (bladder function tests), which allow me to interpret underlying bladder dysfunction in great detail.

I currently work at Cabrini Malvern and the Monash Health Pelvic Floor Unit, where I serve as deputy head. At Monash, we are involved in teaching and training junior medical staff and fellows, conducting research, and overseeing outpatient clinics and operating sessions.

I am an active member of the International Urogynecological Association and the International Continence Society.
