Miss Shiba Sinha

I am an Australian and British trained specialist plastic surgeon with a sub speciality interest in breast reconstruction, skin cancers and aesthetic breast and body surgery. I obtained my medical degree and a BSc in Clinical Sciences from the University of Leeds.

I completed my plastic surgery training through the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2020. I was selected to undergo a sub speciality fellowship in microsurgical breast reconstruction at Queen Victoria Hospital, UK which is one of the largest centres in Europe for breast reconstruction. I have published and presented internationally in the fields of breast reconstruction and skin cancer. My current research interests focus on patient reported outcome measures and enhanced recovery pathways in breast surgery.

I have a holistic interest in women’s health and believe that surgery works best when provided in collaborative teams. I hold visiting medical officer appointments at Monash Health and Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre where I am part of strong multi-disciplinary teams for breast and skin cancer patients.
