Mr Reece Sher

I am an Australian trained neurosurgeon and spinal surgeon. I treat all general neurosurgical conditions with subspecialty interests in neuro-oncology (brain and spine tumour), microvascular decompression (trigeminal neuralgia), disc replacement, spinal stenosis and disc prolapse. The focus of my practice is to preserve motion, promote mobility and optimise functional outcomes for my patients whilst minimising surgical and non-surgical complications.

I have received extensive training in all facets of neurosurgery and spinal surgery in highly regarded institutions, including the Royal North Shore Hospital, Royal Hobart Hospital, Monash Hospital, Monash Children’s Hospital and Austin Hospital.

I have also completed a sub-specialist competitive combined neurosurgical and orthopaedic spinal surgery fellowship. I am adept at traditional surgical techniques and modern minimally invasive neurosurgical and spinal surgical techniques, as well as surgical adjuncts such as cranial and spinal navigation and neuromonitoring.
